A Louisiana Native and Ole Miss Graduate, Michael came to Crested Butte by way of Texas in 2019. While based in Houston, he served as an expatriate tax preparer and developed an in-depth understanding of complex accounting that has served him well. Since joining the B Murphy Team, Michael has played a pivotal role in elevating the company’s financial management to a first-class level. His approach is centered around transparent, real-time, and accurate accounting, ensuring clear communication and driving projects forward efficiently. A natural tech enthusiast, Michael has introduced innovative solutions that have streamlined operations and delivered significant value to BMC and its partners.



Outside of work, Michael enjoys skiing, hiking, and gaming (yes, gaming). He’s also a proud uncle to six nieces and nephews. You’ll often find him around Crested Butte, grabbing coffee with his Blue Heeler, Moab.
